With the development of economy and the progress of science and technology, aesthetics is regarded more and more highly in the design of bridge. But the knowledge on this is localized on the level of sensibility in more cases. Detailed and rational from design as well as structure design should be taken into account in a perfect design of a bridge. This paper discussed the development and characteristic of the form design of bridg. Based on the feature of cable supported bridge, then the discussion of transformation and the display of form characteristic about bridge tower are carried out. After then , analysis the factor from artistic persfective whice are influenced the tower such as section, environment and cable , at the same time illustrate the process of design about the tower as Haicang Bridge.In order to seek the perfect bridge tower in form and mechanics, evaluate the sesthetics about tower and calculation models of the tower and whole cable supported bridge bridge with Ansys finite element methods. The static and dynamic behavior are analyzed. Tower as the main part of cable bridge can change the form of whole bridge under the reasonable mechanics. In the end, the whole aesthetics method can use in other bridge.
