Ordinary cement concrete is a kind of important project structural material. Its application has already very much general. Its technology is riper too. With the development of science and technology, the modifying of ordinary concrete in order to improve their application characteristic become important scientific research content.At present, mixing the short-staple of certain proportion in the concrete, namely the so-called fibrous concrete, is one of the important means of modifying the concrete. Compared with ordinary concrete, tensile strength, shear strength, frost resistance, resist of striking, antiknock , resist of rubbing , resist of tiring and ductility ,etc., are obviously improved in fibrous concrete.The fibrous concrete used in the project is mainly as follows, steel fibrous concrete, glass fibrous concrete, formatting organic fibrous concrete. To the current situation of the development of the fibrous concrete at present, this text fully consulted the domestic and international documents, on the basis of forefathers' study, found a kind of natural mineral fiber, fibrous brucite. Its existence is steady in the nature. It's the ideal substitute of asbestos fibre. After investigating physics and chemical property of fibrous brucite, it was added into cement mortar to mix. After its mechanics test, shear strength improved obviously. It proves the feasibility of mixing the fibrous brucite into the concrete.In this text, we designed the testing program of fibrous brucite concrete, investigated its mechanics performance. Through the experimental results, we can see that its intensity increases obviously, and the craft is simple. According to the experiment scheme this text provides, we receive a compound material reinforced by fibrous brucite. After confirming the enhancement function of fibrous brucite, we utilize their peculiar performance to mix with the polypropylene fibre, steel fibre, and observe its mechanics performance. According to the results, we know that fibrous brucite not only has function of strengthening to concrete, it also can strengthen concrete mixing with other fibres,and has the complementary function of strengthening with other fibres.With the research of this text, we draw a conclusion that fibrous brucite is a good material which can reinforce the tough performance. Adding it into cement concrete then a new kind material, fibrous brucite concrete, reinforced with strength and toughness is made.
