The research on the Analysis and Design of the Electromagnetic Systems of Maglev Vehicle is done in this thesis. The results of the analysis are used in the design of the levitation system of low-speed maglev vehicle. With the advantages of safer, quicker, better environment protection and saving more energy, maglev technology is very promising in China. Thus, the localization of maglev technology has become a trend. As part of the localization work, the dissertation is helpful to understand the relation between the performances of electromagnetic sub-systems of maglev vehicle and its design parameters and operating status. Meanwhile, the dissertation is also helpful to get the optimal design of these systems. The main content of this dissertation is as follows,1. This dissertation introduces the class, major characteristics and developing history of maglev vehicle and then analyzes the prospect of its appliance in China and finally educes the subject.2. Simply introducing the basic principle of finite element method(FEM), the analyzing tools used in the dissertation and the shortcomings of FEM.3. Using the FEM tool ANSYS to do analysis on the levitation and propulsion systems of high-speed maglev vehicle and the levitation system of low-speed maglev vehicle. Through building simple models, the dissertation analyze the magnetic field distribution under standard working conditions and the relation among levitation force, propulsion force, design parameters and operating conditions, which offers academic basis for optimal design. Meanwhile, the dissertation proposes the term of guiding intension to help choosing the width of the magnet pole.4. Based on the results of the FEM analysis and others' design result, a test platform on low-speed levitation magnets is proposed in the thesis. On top of that, there different magnets are designed to the heat dissipating ability.
