Along with the fast development of architecture market of our country, the high layer buildings flow out continuously and the demand of building intelligences increases, so the dosage of the elevator is nasty to rise. But there are several problems that need solve, such as running stationarity and economy construction cost etc. There is much real meaning to research the planetary gear speed reducer.At first, this paper analyses the elevator's prospect of development and application then recommends the features and defective of worm and wormwheel speed reducer and planetary gear speed reducer. The author advances a new appraise function about planetary gear speed reducer optimization. The new function includes the contact ratio and volume optimization of planetary gear speed reducer.The optimization design is a multi-target optimization problem. It has two sub function, contact ratio function and volume function. They belong to the two kinds of properties of target function. The author establishes a appraise function to reflect the optimum effectiveness of the planetary gear speed reducer's contact ratio and volume, using the multiplication-division method in uniform target function method. And the gear number and modulus of gear are optimum variable. The spiral angle is processed with optimum. As a result, not only the optimum effectiveness is assurance, but also the calculation time is short. The feasibility enumeration method is used as optimum algorithm of planetary gear speed reduce, because the gear number and the modulus are discrete variables and there may be defect in other algorithm which treats the discrete variable as continuous one and need modify.The author establishes the optimum algorithm code with the C++ in Visual C++ work bench. The paper examines and certifies the code with a example. And the optimum result compares with routine design result. The comparison result indicates the optimum result, which gains with the optimum algorithm, multiplication-division method, and the feasibility enumeration method optimum solution, not only augments the contact ratio, but also reduces the volume. Then the comparison analyzing result, which the optimum result of different carrying capacity compares, indicates that the optimum method and optimum solution is convenience and shortcut, and has higher reliability and practicability.The author builds the three-dimensional model of planetary gear speed reducer, and emulates its assembly process. This can supply reference with reality assembly.
