Aprestressed rectangular concrete filled steel truss was proposed, which is composed of the compression bar (the top chord) made of rectangular concrete filled steel tube and the tension member (the down chord) made of the rectangular prestressed steel tube.The prestressed concrete filled steel tube truss is a new kind of truss structure, which unifies the advantages of the concrete filled steel tube and the prestressed technology. The remarkable characteristic is that the stress distribution is reasonable and the structure performance is improved. At the same time, the stress distortion performance can achieve the best condition. The rigidity of the new structure is enhanced and its deflection and the truss depth are reduced. This structure suits greatly in many structures, such as the heavy loaded structure, the seismic structure, the structure used in complex adverse circumstance and so on.Based on the structure design theory and the economical performance research, the author uses the ANSYS procedure to analyze various trusses. The identical span and structural style, the different span (24m, 36m, 48m) but identical structural style of the exact square steel pipe truss, the exact square concrete filled steel tube truss, the exact square prestressed steel pipe truss and the prestressed exact square concrete filled steel tube truss are analyzed. The load-displacement curves of each kind of those trusses are drawn. The load-displacement curves of the three span trusses are drawn in one figure and the cures among the four various trusses are drawn. Through analyses of those curves, the main conclusions were posed. Finally, this paper carried on some research on the structure and the point of the prestressed concrete filled steel tube truss.Time limited, this article conducted only the static mechanics performance research on the prestessed rectangular concrete filled steel tube truss, the dynamic performance as well as experimental performance research is the work which the author is going further to launch.
