More and more serious effects are raised to power quality for electronics and reactive loads being used widely in power system. Most of the effects are produced by distribution network loads. So, power quality of distribution network would be affected more easily.The paper introduces a DSTATCOM equipment that controlled by one-cycle control (OCC). The equipment can compensates reactive and eliminate harmonic incurrent of distribution network, the main topology of equipment includes an inverter circuit and a DC capacitance. Because voltage value of distribution network is lower comparatively, high frequency switch such as IGBT can be used as switching apparatus. The directly current method is reasonable being used. In fact, OCC APF is one way of the method. Comparing with another control methods, OCC have more simply controlling circuit and constant switch frequency.Paper introduces OCC theory in the first, then OCC equation of single phase and three phases are deduced. Base on OCC equation, hardware circuit is designed which can control main topology running for harmonic suppression and reactive power compensation. Through simulation of OCC DSTATCOM by PSIM6.0, the validity of the OCC theory is proved.Except giving OCC equation through mathematic deduction, the paper also explains the theory of OCC DSTATCOM in running principle. The important signal v_m can be calculated base on the relationship between those voltages and currentssignal and their change. At the same time, the parameters choice principle of PI controller is introduced. The principle can give the guidance for parameters calculating.In the last, author verifies the OCC theory analysis and simulation result through a single OCC APF experimentation, the analysis and simulation result are validated. It can prove that OCC theory was correct and feasible.
