After making a thorough investigation of automobile experiments and virtual instrument technology, and fully considering the specific requirements of Nanjing Vehicle Group Technology Center, Information Acquisition & Processing System for Automobile Tests Based on Virtual Instrument Technology, is designed.Firstly, in the paper, direct acquired parameters and indirect acquired parameters of automobile tests are concluded. Secondly, testing instrument, data acquisition cards and sensors, which the system needs, are confirmed. Thirdly, through giving full play to the advantages of graphic language and high-level language, Information Acquisition Subsystem Based on DASYLab and Information Processing Subsystem Based on VB are completed. Fourthly, the evaluation of the capability of automobile using method of point rating is implemented. Fifthly, the database is constructed, and the data interface between the program and the database is designed. Finally, a whole run procedure of the system is demonstrated. In the processing of designing, anti-interference methods from various angles are adopted, including hardware and software, acquisition and processing. The reliability of system is improved through several kinds of arithmetic, such as Butterworth digital filter, singular points elimination, sliding average second digital filter and curve fitting. The system has been running in Nanjing Vehicle Group Technology Center, and is beyond the requirement of original design targets.
