In this paper, based on ControlNet Field Bus, a distributed-control system is developed, realizing the monitoring of the water power slag handling system in GDCF. In the design, ControlLogix5561 redundancy control system of Rockwell, ControlNet communication module, Industrial Personal Computer of Advantech and the configuration software of InTouch are used. The paper includes the electric control system of locale equipment, the design of system hardware, the design of system software and so on.The electric control system of locale equipment includes host control circuit, assistant control circuit and locale manual handle and so on. And the communication among locale equipment, PLC and IPC is realized through the control part of system. The control of locale equipment is realized through the control part of system, too. Adopted the method which made up of remote auto-control, remote single-control and locale control, the function of water power slag handling system is realized.Based on the sufficient practical argumentation, the paper proves that this system could effectively realize automatic monitoring and automatic enhancement of the water power slag handling process safely, the control system which combines the field bus technology with the PLC looks practical and feasible from the technical angle, has potential market influence. The successfully utilization of this kind of integration control system in water power slag handling system in power plant of GDCF, has certain reference value for other use in other power plants or other domains applications.
