The reliability of rotating blades is directly related to the operation safety of the stream turbine generator. Fatigue testing of blades can figure out the fatigue limit and the fatigue life at different levels of stress, then provide useful reference data for choosing the right blade material and evaluating new treatment technics. This paper is base on the project of the fatigue capability testing of three different treatments of blades which is made up of 2Crl2MoV and provided by one Ltd. in Shanghai. The author participated the experiments which were implemented on a test-bed special designed for this kind of experiments and develop an automation control system of fatigue limit testing.The author demonstrated the intensity and fatigue problems of blades in special working circumstance, expatiated the basic concepts of metal fatigue and the usual methods of fatigue testing, and then brought forward the acquirement of developing vibration fatigue test-bed according to the stress condition.This test-bed has several key technologies. First: eccentric wheel as pulse force resource; Second: column pin and eccentric wheel's out rolling bearing parts in force transmission system; Third: circular oil cooling system; Fourth: eccentric distance-bracket dual adjust parts. Upon these technologies, The author finished vibrating fatigue testing on different force levels.During the research period, the author develop a control system which not only can record and show the times of blade's vibrating, but also can cut off the test-bed's power in certain instances. Besides, it has communication function and self-adjustment ability, which make the experiments more easily.As the results of science research, the contrast tests accomplished on this system provided useful data for evaluating the new technics. And more important, the test-bed and control system can widely used in other projects and fields.
