The assembly is the last process of the production, and the quality of assembly influences the ultimate quality of products to the great extent. The aero-engine has many parts with similar model and type, and the polytechnic process of assembly is very complex. Furthermore, the assembly of aero-engine is usually completed manually, so the precision and the stabilization of assembly all depend on the proficiency and experience of workmen. All these cause that the wrong and leak assembly happen from time to time which reduce quality and efficiency of assembly largely. So it is important to control the quality of assembly process.Taking the aero-engine as the studying object and using three-dimensional visualization and digital technology, this thesis is to validate the instruction and control of assembly process of aero-engine, which ensures assembly quality. The main research works are as follows:1. Aiming at the problem that assembly workmen operate according paperbacked rules and dual-dimension and it is non-intuitionist, this thesis studies the three-dimensional visualization technology of assembly process, and presented the implement scheme of assembly visualization based on three-dimensional Visualization components of HOOPS. The studied technology related include the acquirement of model, how to create the assembly order and path, the presentation of three-dimensional assembly process and how to control the animation play of assembly process step by step. By building the visualization model of assembly process and show it in the animation format, the workmen are instructed in assembly operation and the man-made impact on assembly quality will be reduced.2. Aiming at the fact that in the assembly process of aero-engine the method of quality management and control is laggard, the process of malfunction check is studied, and the key points of process of malfunction check are strictly controlled. In addition, the army-check process is integrated into the process of malfunction check, which ensures the part would satisfy the army requirement.3. The connotation of digital army-check and the classification of army-check are studied. Taking the role of army deputy in the malfunction check as example, the function of disposal and affirmance of malfunction check in army-check is developed, so army deputy, malfunction checker and operator can cooperate in different places to control the assembly quality effectively.4. In the deployment of the system, the three-dimensional animations of four components of aero-engine and model relation are completed, and it is the foundation of running normally of system.
