Opc Communication Technology Research And Development, Power Plant Full Scope Simulator

With the fast development of electric power, all conditions simulation in Power Station has jumped to a new stage. A high capability Simulation System stands on faster communications. The faster communication is the base of the simulation System.In this article, an OPC Data Access Server was developed for the all conditions simulation in Power Station. This server stands by the Data Access Standard of OPC Foundation and the Component Object Model of the Microsoft corporations. As an extension of the Real-Time Database, the server connects to the Database in a special method offered by the Database. At the same time, in a method regulated by the OPC Standard, Client Server architectonic, the server supply high quality data communication to the client side.In this article, all codes were written by using Visual C++ development tools. In the process of the developing, the codes critically stand by the Object Oriented Programming thinking. By using the friend class and abstract class, the author not only expediently realized the OPC Server Component Object and the interface of it, but also realized the relation betweens in the three COM Objects. A high quality data server was constructed.In the article, an OPC client for testing was developed. It is important for the development of the OPC Server. After testing, we found the server worked steadily, can fully meet the needs of simulating conditions.
