With the development of traffic, the administration in a efficient way of the plane and car is more necessary. Of course, the best solution is that builds the new airport, expands the size of runway and taxiway. But these are limited by ground, fund and time. The advanced method is used if this problem must be solved in the near future. This can administrate and use the airport traffic. Airport surveillance system of radar (ASSR) is the one of three parts in air traffic surveillance system and only used as scouting the plane and car in the airport. The background of the thesis is ASSR in Chengdu's airport.Firstly, the whole system architecture of ASSR and the part that I finish in this thesis are introduced. Secondly, the thesis introduces the development of the original information display and control software, and the most important point is to introduce all kinds of problems during the development and to solve them. The PPI display terminal of ASSR includes original information display and processed information display. At last some data processing algorithms are studied to make preparations for the processed information display.The software development in this thesis includes the main interface design, PPI display interface design, testing data display interface design and control interface design. And every function module design is given in the thesis. According to the multiple tasks that the local computer completes, multi-thread is used to realize original information display, target data reading and broadcasting the target data through LAN. To reduce the time used for painting, this thesis gives the method of reducing redundancy of original information display and the method of looking up table. And the module of control switch between local control computer and remote control computer is given in the thesis. At last this thesis introduces the testing data display module design and radar control module design.Track filter and the basic elements of track system have been researched. Meanwhile current statistical model and adaptive algorithm based on kalman filter and STF filter are researched, and the thesis compares the performance between them by simulating. Data association method of multi-target tracking has also been researched. We study the distance-gate which has big effect on data association and analyze global distance-gate. Finally nearest neighbor algorithm has been researched.At last, we give the result of the experiment and draw a conclusion on the development and design of the whole software.
