Inland Dry Port And Its Location Study

Container transport operation have been extending inland ,With the fast development of container transportation recent year. As it is shown that inland transportation network has enormous economic and social benefits, including that extend hinterland of port ;provide consignor with better service and have an important influence on transport system . dry depot have an pivotal effect on inland transport system.Based on the previous researches and practices, first ,the paper introduce dry depot's conceptions ;the theory , the principle of select address; then this thesis studies the location of dry depots and provide a comprehensive model for it.The paper focus the model of the location .there are two parts ,the first part introduce data envelopment analysis (DEA) to select the coarse address .the index include the cost of transportation and the time of transportation etc. thereby we have some effective addresses. it reduce the area. the second part introduce AHP-F, we bring it into use ,we get hold of the best address.The last draw the conclusion of this thesis and propose the future research of the inland container transportation network.
