Development, Of A Certain Type Of Aircraft Generator Controller Ground Test System

The generator control unit which monitors the electrical power generation system plays an essential part in the aircraft power supply system. It can ensure the generator work in the safe status. In order to flying safety, detect and maintenance for generator cortrol unit regularity is very necessary. So we develop an automated test system which can be used for the generator control nuit test on the earth.First, the article introduces the hardware system of automated test system which combines the data acquisition , control and management function. The system is based on a test control computer , two programmed control sources are desigened to analog the failure information that the aircraft generator system have, for example, the output voltages of IDG , output current of PMG current transformer and some digital signals. The data acquisition card collects the outputs of the programmed control sources to realize a closed-loop control, and collects the outputs of generator control unit to calculate the fault response time. Then, a software system is developed base the Microsoft Visual C++.It includes the communication programme between control test computer and sources and the data acquisition programme. At last, an interface of this automated test system is given which is developed by MFC. The function of dynamic data display, preferences, fault information recording, report forming and printing will be added to make the system perfect.The experiment indicates that the key technology in this system is feasible. And this automated test system is proved reliably, intelligently and easily-operated.
