In modern power measurement, the measurement of the pulse of radio power has been widely used as the transmitter power, the delicacy of microwave receiver, the plus of amplifier and so on. And the peak demodulation has the characteristics of high reliability, high delicacy and great efficiency.It were mostly used in the design of RF power meter peak level. Meanwhile, the smart portable device is the same with the locale of production and scientific research by rapidity, easy handle, the cabinet and light appearance. So the portable true peak power meter which is based upon the theory of peak demodulation will be popular.The article relate to designing a portable true peak power analysis meter, it's divided into three parts: the hardware design of power analysis meter, the software design of it and meter calibration. The author's demonstration program for the subject is: the soft, hardware design and development, system test and calibration tasks.In the design of project, the measurement of power adopt the technique of peak demodulation, the aim of project is a portable true peak power analysis meter which is schemed out. And the article describes the demonstration, the hardware and software realization, and the test results of this scheme. Especially, the dissertation analyzes the performances of the logarithmic detector, and adopts the plan of using ARM chip as main control unit with the LCD to achieve the project.The first, the dissertation introduce the modern power measurement, we choose the technique of peak demodulation as the basis of power measurement in the project by our analysis, and put forward the whole scheme of the project design. Then, the hardware design part mainly describes the technique of peak demodulation, the data acquisiton channel circuit, the control cuicuit, the frequency measurement of carrier wave and the design of electrical source in the equipment. In the software design of the portable true peak power analysis meter, data processing, LCD controlling, keyboard scan and other parts of software is presented. And the last, the adjustment is provided in this dissertation. In the end, the dissertation presents some improving methods aiming at the deficiency of the design and the developing trend of its future.
