The paper was a research result of the plan of science and technology development of Guangzhou Railway Corporation of Railway Ministry. The bridge of New Sanyanxi was located in the zone between Gongpin and the west of Zhijiang in the Line of Xiangqian. The rigid of pier foundation was insufficient under the scour of flow because the construction had not been built according to the blueprint and the complete picture was seriously inconsistent with the facts and left hidden trouble to the safety of bridge. The portrait displacement on the top of No. 2 pier exceeded the limit severely and the gradient also went beyond the set value and the bridge had to be remedied or reinforced for its class Al inferior.The model of pier foundation under the scour of flow was brought forward in the paper according to the disease situation of the bridge of New Sanyanxi using spring to simulate the restriction relationship between the pier foundation and substrate, and then the reason of portrait displacement was explored, the plan of bridge reinforcement was brought forward, and in the last part of the paper the stability of bridge was calculated and analyzed before reinforcement and after reinforcement respectively applying the method of nonlinear space finite element. comparing the calculation results using the method of finite element to the results measured on spot, we would find that two of them was consistent and this could testify the reinforcement project of bridge brought forward in the paper was scientific and feasible and the theory analysis was correct and reliable. The disease situation of the bridge of New Sanyanxi was renovated by the project and got some society and economy benefit.The integer distortion and stress distributing of the bridge and the influence of pier base and situation of groundwork to the stability of the whole bridge were discussed in the paper according to the calculation and analysis of reinforcement project of the bridge of New Sanyanxi and the results could become the reference of the stability research in other railway reinforced concrete bridge of simple-support beam and offer some evidence about the influence of the situation of pier substrate to the stability of bridge.The main work done by this paper as below:1. The model of pier base under the scour of flow was brought forward in the paper using spring to simulate the. restriction relationship between the pier base and substrate, and analyzed the reason of portrait displacement of beam and supports caused by the scour of flow.2. Analyzed the corresponding stress and distortion of beam under the different situation of pier substrate and got the variety rules about the stress and distortion of the bridge and the situation of pier substrate.3. Analyzed the influence of kinds of different conditions to the stress and distortion of bridge with disease under the situation of pier substrate with scour of flow.
