To analyze and simulate the load characteristic is important for testing and improving thepracticality of servo system. Load simulation system of certain servo equipment is studiedin this paper.This paper researches the influence of friction torque, unbalanced moment, impact momentand variable rule of moment of inertia in detail. According to the development of loadsimulation systems, the conventional control pattern is improved in this paper. That is, theadoption of DTC (direct torque control) method through the setting of a servo amplifierand realization of loading through a control board basing on DSP TMS320F2812.This paper designs the load controller from both aspects of hardware and software. For theaspect of hardware, designs the circuit of control board to realize the functions of waveloading, speed sampling and communicating with the computer. For the aspect of software,designs software based on DSP/BIOS, especially arranges the flow and priority of tasks.Furthermore, the user interface is designed using Visual C++ for the operator to control theprocess of load simulation.This paper finishes the connection and debugging of this load simulation system andrealizes load simulating according to the load design. The system has been in use forseveral months. The result indicates the design is reasonable. The system can simulate theload environment efficiently so that it opens a door to improve the performance of certainservo equipment.
