Facing the crueler and crueler market competition, independent innovation is essential for any enterprise which would like to survive and develop. As for an enterprise, the essence of independent innovation is product innovation. TRIZ is the theory of innovation and invention which has been applied extensively all over the world. The computer-aided innovation technologies based on TRIZ can integrate multidisciplinary knowledge organically. It can aid designers to eliminate thinking set and broad limited knowledge field for realizing product innovative design. The main research contents of this paper are as follows:First of all, this paper analyzes the research status at home and abroad of the computer-aided innovation technologies based on TRIZ, learns the theory of TRIZ and some related theories of product design. Secondly, this paper mainly bases on analytical tools and knowledge tools of TRIZ, uses Visual C++6.0as the development platform and combines Access database and XML technologies to build and implement the computer-aided product innovative design system. This software system includes eight modules, which are system login, problem definition and analysis, solving for conflict problems, solving using substance field analysis, solving using function and scientific effects, management of knowledge base system, patent searching and analysis and report generating. In the construction of software system, this system supports the whole process from the definition, analysis, solving of problems to report generating of product design, it is a complete computer-aided product innovative design system. In the functional modules design of software, this paper pays more attention to do research in applying standard solutions and scientific effects for product innovative design, presenting arithmetic flow of applying standard solutions to make this application process more systematically and operationally, using XML technology to realize semantic searching and synonym differentiation based on function for scientific effects knowledge base and improving the recall ratio and precision ratio. In the design of knowledge base system, using TRIZ knowledge base tools and patent documents for source, including the innovative principles knowledge base, standard solutions knowledge base, function and scientific effects knowledge base and engineering design cases base consisting of innovative design knowledge base system. The knowledge in the software system be presented in form of combinations of words, animation and pictures, providing multidisciplinary innovative knowledge for designers and it is easy to master and utilize innovative knowledge for designers.Finally, this paper completely illustrates and tests the processes of operating this software system by using examples of the innovative design of washing machine’s water saving and fan noisy reduction, searching patents of printer and predicting the stage of maturity of printer technology, managing knowledge base system, giving the innovative solutions and verifying the validity of this system.
