Heavy Haul Capacity

After investigation of heavy-haul railway lines especially Datong-Qinhuangdao railway, collection information of heavy-haul transportation abroad, by theoretic analysis and simulation , this paper analyzed technology of heavy-haul transportation comprehensively, especially about calculation method and parameter of through capacity, furthermore, speed, density and weight of heavy-haul transportation are described and their inner relation are analyzed, thus get a reasonable conclusion.First of all, the definition of heavy-haul transportation, the status of domestic and oversea, market foreground, and reasonable application condition and application premise are introduced. Two basic transportation mode and several appropriate assembled options of 10000 ton and 20000 ton freight train are put forward.This paper emphasis on detailed analysis and calculation of station distribution, skylight type and time, headway which related to through capacity, thereby get a proper distance of stations, skylight type and time, different headway of auto-blocked railway, thus get the method and parameter of traffic capacity.Finally, the inner relation of speed, density and weight which influence the quality and economical return is analyzed, the economical rational traction weight and traffic capacity are indicated in this paper.Besides, the characteristic of heavy-haul transportation are put forward by analyze and calculation in context, some transportation optimization measures to enhance the efficiency and traffic capacity, exert the benefit of heavy-haul transportation.
