| The port location needs a mass of information based on geography which is practical, accurate and comprehensive. The data also should be inquired and analyzed comprehensively at any moment. The normal method is hardly adept the needs of port development. So, it is necessary to built up a Port Location Decision support system which is based on the GIS.At first, GIS was used in the initial mapping platform and now has been developed into a technology which is used in most area of spatial engineering, research and management based on space location information. SDSS is not only the demand of the development of GIS, but also the necessary trend for DSS to become spatial. At present, SDSS has been applied to the area of geography and environment maturely both in the domestic and overseas. Port location refers to all kinds of factors, including economic environment and natural environment, so information needed includes various graphs and images based on spatial location, statistic data, character materials, planning demand, etc. How to organize and use the data effectively is the strength of GIS.The paper begins from the concepts of GIS and Spatial Decision Support System, introducing the definition of port location theory and analyzing the relative factors in port location in several aspects. As a large scale service facility, the port and its location are influenced by a lot of factors. So, it is meaningful to analysis these factors quantificational in port location. In this paper, the author has designed the basic modules in the port location SDSS conceptually. As a basic module, the database of the system is very important in gathering and organizing data info. In this paper, we analyzed the establishing of the database and the data collection, combining the space data processing ability of GIS. As model base is the key component of the decision-support system, the choice of feasible location-choice model is very important to provide the policy-makers the effective decision-making information. Different from the traditional AHP analysis, we structure a port location model based on fuzzy AHP. By calculating, the results of the example are consistent with the actual results. It can be proved that the model is feasibility and applicability to some extent... |
