In this paper, the controller of the infantry smart grenade has been designed and the scheme of the infantry grenade controller, the hardware, the arithmetic module and the kernel have been implemented.First, the characteristic of the infantry smart grenade and the virtues and faults of using FPGA as the controller are discussed, and then the vector pulse engine and the processing of the detected signal are introduced. Second, the hardware is designed based on the power supply, the FPGA controller and the AD acquisition. Thirdly, the arithmetic module that will be used in the project are designed, such as the adder and subtraction module, the multiplication, the division and some special functions, then we test and validate the module to ensure the validity . Fourthly, the design of the kernel is finished, including the AD acquisition module, the control arithmetic module and the fire arithmetic module. Finally, the grenade controller based on FPGA is summarized and the solution of the optimization of the kernel is provided.
