Box-type Parts Of The Computer-aided Group Classification And Coding System

With the development of information technology and the formation of global market,modern manufacturing industry requires the higher speed of updating product as well as producing high quality products in the shortest possible time with minimum cost. We need to use the GT to resolve the problem.In fact, almost all of the GT code systems are developed asspecialized system for special parts (such as polyhedrons, cylinders). This paper is research computer aided classification GT code system of the box-type parts based on the information of the box-type parts of the enterprise.On the aspect of integration, with the analysis and summary of the traditional definition and classification for the features, this paper overall describes features of convey box-type parts and constructs database of feature information by the description of different features, different angles and different layers. This paper introduce the realization of the techological decision, the structure, the feature-based description of information for box-type parts.This integration system WSH is developed in the paper by Visual Basic 6.0 ,and is supported by Windows XP .So this integration system has friendly interface for users and the design and test of the system is through practical example of one oriented-feature of convey box-type parts.
