Black Start Based On Petri Nets

Through the development for several decades, it has been made rapid process in security and stability technology of power system. But some occasion and man-made factors are always out of forecast and prevention, because the reason that impacts the security and stability run are tremendously sophisticated, the result is that it will lead to large scale blackout accident. Black-start is an efficient measure that can ensure high-speed restoration of power supply after large scale blackout happened. So it is very important and necessary to research and develop the restoration method when the system faults take place, this method is commonly called black-start.This paper firstly introduces the basic theory of Petri network and some problems related to black-start. In view of the deficiency of current black-start method, the paper establishes the model of restoration action which is relevant to the operation of primary devices through Petri network technology in the process of black-start. Based on evaluating and selecting the feasible operation measures, the paper simulates the restoration process of black-start by using some computer aid analysis tools, and delivers the black-start restoration strategy and related flow chart through Petri network. And then, this paper analyzes the treatment of conflict and the resolvent of dead-lock during the application of black-start which is based upon Petri network technology. Thus, the black-start restoration scheme is achieved.Finally, taking the power grid of north Guizhou as the example, this paper illuminates the process of black-start resumption based on Petri network. Then it uses MATLAB as a tool to program the discursion arithmetic of this Petri network . The result proves the above method can provide the dispatcher with black-start scheme effectively and quickly, and the method can also be applied to other power grid commonly in our country.
