Qingdao Technical College Training And Technology Museum Project Cost Management

Theory of project cost management in the modern construction industry has been more and more widely used. In this thesis, Technical Museum project of Qingdao Technical College was taken as an example to sum up and analyze the application of the theory of project cost management in the construction industry.The writer analyzed the application of project cost management in the construction industry, which from the cost planning of the project, implementation of the project cost, project cost analysis bound with the theory of project cost management with the example of the Technical Museum project of Qingdao Technical College.For the plan of project cost, this thesis took the order of "break down - summary - decomposition" to introduce inductive methods of the cost planning in construction industry. For the implementation of the cost planning, the thesis explained how to conduct the project cost control from the material costs, labor costs, machinery costs, time costs and quality costs. For the project cost analysis, through the example of Technical Museum project of Qingdao Technical College the thesis introduced a number of analytical methods we usually used. The last part of the thesis introduced the relationships between the project cost management, project human resources management, project process management and project communication management.Through the application of the theory of project cost management in the project of Technical Museum of Qingdao Technical College, the writer hold the opinion that under the current fierce competition, the project cost management should also be explore a deeper level of applications thus to achieve the goal of more rational use of resources.
