Along with development of the domestic economy at very fast speed in 21st century, the decoration project already becomes the one of the important parts of improving the people's quality of life. Due to the development swift and violent of this industry, the lack of manager and the chaotic situation of management have occurred between times. Under this background, the author has written down the thesis " Research of Project Management in the Large-scale Decoration Project ---EX for Decoration Project in Today Hotel"as a project person in charge. It is to take the decoration project of "Today Healthy Hot spring Hotel" which located on Shanxi Yun Cheng as the background practice type thesis. The author organizes and has implemented this project. The article elaborated that the conditions necessary to do a good job in business management and the problems it may encounter, and the problem-solving approach in the course of construction of a large decorative works from the point of view of the project management, and made a more detailed explanation of the results.In this thesis, the expounding and demonstration of the project administration involved six aspects: project quality control, project cost management, project progress management, project risk management, project information management, project teamwork management and project communication management. The project quality control, project cost management, and project progress management are the three core targets of one project management administration success, and these three goals are also the mutual connections, the cost management must establish in the quality, and must have to carry under the certain standard quality requirement, simultaneously the reasonable progress arrangement must be under the certain quality specification. The process and the cost are also connecting, only requests the progress but ignore the cost is unable to realize the economic efficiency maximization. Three goals unification coordination are the distillation of the project management. Moreover, the project risk management is thestable factor of the project succeeds under the market economy environment, it had guaranteed the risk of the project to be smaller as well as the good project. The project information management is the beneficial supplement of enhancing the working efficiency and perfecting the work flow in the communication era. The project teamwork management and project communication management embody the sustainable development of the project management team, and also play the vital role to interior organization coordination of the project.The production of this thesis is that it can provide a successful management patterns to the Large-scale Decoration Project, especially give prominence to quality cost,risk control. Those are innovative views of the thesis.
