Steel and concrete hybrid structure has got broadly application in home and abroad, it has steel structure and the concrete structure merit: can lighten a self-respect,save material,cut down a shoring,save cost, seismic damage and experimental results show that the reason of build structure collaps is that the energy dissipation and the tensility are smaller than the need. But study on seismic performance of key part of the structure is not enough at present. Experiments studied the steel coupling beam and the shear wall jiont's hysteresis function,tensility,energy dissipation capacity as well as seismic resistance in-plane. Study the mechanical behavior of the joint core area under pseudo-static effect, in order to study the new type of coupled shear wall, Study seismic resistance of the tube which composed of this new type of shear walls have theoretical significance and instructive effect.The following principal aspects were proposed:(1) At present theory and achievement, to caculation and analysis the jionts theory, the jonit is designed, test scheme is proved, experiment of the two different full-scale steel beam to concrete wall under low-cyclic reversed load were carried out. study failure mechanism of the jiont.(2) According to the experimental data, obtained the hysteretic curve, research the joint of the ductility,the dissipated energies ability at the end of the beam under low frequency cyclic load action.(3) Through the hysteretic curve, study strength degradation and stiffness degradation of the jiont, and modeling of the hysteretic curve of the jiont, get the resiliency model of the jiont which enables it to respond the displacement-load reactions.(4) Twelve FEM models were builded to Simulate the experiment process, different embedded depth,different axial compression ratio and different volume reinforcement ratio of stirrup were considered, by the FEM analysis, obtained ductility coefficient of the models, research different factors effect on the ductility coefficient, and put forward the propose how to advance the ductility coefficient of this structure.
