| Automatic sprinkler system is high efficiency, economical and practical. So far, it is the best fire extinguishing system, which has been widely applied to various construction. It is carrying the important mission of protection of human lives and property and bringing a growing number of concerns in recent years. So it is necessary for us to research its reliability. In the current, few people research reliability of fire system, especially to the automatic sprinkler system. So there is still no analysis model of the reliability about it.The paper introduces the basic theoretical knowledge of reliability. It focuses on several structural systems which have been frequently used in the reliability study. Also, it analysizes the diagram and mathematical model of reliability about series, parallel, hybrid and the next, and it finally provides basic steps and methods of the design of the system's reliability.The water-supplying system of the automatic sprinkler system is a series-hybrid system. The reliability of the equipment modules is commonly improved by paralleling the same modules, so as to enhance the reliability of the system. In this paper, the water-supplying system of the automatic sprinkler system has been simplified into a reliability model which is in series with five parts. We can study the reliability of each of the five parts which is paralleled by a number of same units, establish their model of reliability, and calculate it with data from references.The automatic alarming system can forecast fires at early stages in time and control linkage facilities. It has been applied to high-rise buildings, but in practice the false alarm, leaked alarm and breakdown often occur. In the paper, it is divided into four parts according to the principle of automatic alarming system. And then we study further the reliability of various components, establish their model of reliability, make out the methods and measures of improving the reliability.The pump is the heart of the automatic sprinkler system, which is directly related to behavior of the system. So it is essential to control the pump. At present, the reliability of the automatic sprinkler system is low just because of complex circuits and many links to the pump. By analyzing the controlling principle of the pump, the reliability of the automatic sprinkler system has been established and the reliability of different controlling methods has been obviously compared. |
