Conversion structure building is very common in public building, widely used in modern building which focuses on commercial and office or residence. In all transfer structure types, truss transfer story have many advantages, such as having clear stress, the structural weight and lateral stiffness is smaller than the beam transfer story, and increasing the use of building space, it is also conducive to lighting and ventilation equipment. However, in actual project, the construction of truss transfer story is more complex than transfer-beam structure, the using and investigation of truss transfer structure is less, resulting in the engineer lack of understanding about its mechanical characteristics, safety, and economy, so to strengthen the research of truss transfer structure has important social meaning.In this paper, a specific project as an example, explored the mechanical characteristics of truss transfer structure and beam transfer structure, compared variety conversion programs for the building form forces status, expecting it can provide reference for the similar project. The lower is a complex high-rise building for having three large space floors and shear wall upper structure, and more pin conversion of large span. Conversion story has much transformation element, supporting multiple floors and huge load. This paper will focus on finite element analysis for the four different conversion structuresThe main contents include:this paper, base on considering the initial program, proposed four different conversion options, and using SATWE to adjust the section of structure firstly, so that ensure all models are able to meet the design codes and materials appropriate,so structures are more comparable. Under the premise, established the whole structural analysis finite element models with software ETABS. Through analyzing mechanical properties of four models on the vertical static load, wind load and seismic force and time history analysis, comparative outcome shows that the different form conversion is less influence for the structure overall characteristic, but the partial floors near conversion layer are varied.In this paper, through independent calculations of working conditions, author compared and summed up the mechanical characteristics of the four conversion structures, finally selected the appropriate form, and proposed suggestions for improvement.
