Digital Phosphor Technology In The Digital Oscilloscope

As the 3nd oscillograph, digital phosphor oscilloscope uses the most advanced digital phosphor technology which combines the advantages of both simulate oscillograph and digital storage oscillograph. It has high waveform capture rate, high waveform refresh rate, phosphor brightness display function, trigger actions, storage and calculation capability. Digital phosphor oscillograph is invented by Tek of US individually.This article will present a low-cost-and-high-featured digital phosphor oscillograph on the platform of digital oscillograph. The major content is abstracted as follows: Phosphor display theory: To present a new method of displaying brightness effect via digital express, on the basis of simulate osillograph combined with data process in digital storage oscillograph.To construct the main system frame, functional sections and operational scheme, led by the research on core logical circuit. The core control logic contains data synchronized storage, wave transfer, pre-triggered waveform storage, planar waveform storage, batch waveform collection controller, waveform data redeposit controller, persistence controller, LCD scan controller, general sampling data storage,RAM and MPU interface. To achieve the coordination of the various parts of the work to achieve waveform graphic, waveform data processing, waveform generation and display of fluorescence parallel processing, improve waveform capture rate.In the end of this paper,the system structure and the key indicators were discussed and put forward feasible plan to improve system performance ideas.
