In recent years, along with the continued expansion of domestic construction scale, the demand of crane is increased, so, crane safety work becomes one more noticeable problem. Additionally, the national labor and social security ministry also in the book of《the supervision and inspection of hoisting machinery for some rules of tonnage crane regulations》proposes it should be equipped with safety monitoring devices, such as: the crawler crane hoisting weight more than 32T, crane hoisting weight than 16T, should be installed safety monitoring device.After doing some reference research about the domestic and foreign existing crane safety protection devices, based on current analysis of crane safety monitoring system stability, reliability and precision and system function of the shortage, this paper puts forward a method based on single chip microcomputer C8051F040 the crawler crane safety monitoring system. This device besides have finded sound-light alarm, dot-matrix LCD display and keyboard input, the off-gauge data record, real-time clock function, but also the conventional increased usb data storage function.The hardware circuit is adopted in the master new hualong company which products single-chip microcontroller, the C8051F040 on the periphery of the rich are integrated, therefore, this module in the system needs only single chip that can replace past 51-series microcomputer + I/O expand + A/D + watchdog, largely simplifies the periphery of the system, improve the system of circuit reliability and stability.In addition, this paper introduces comparatively detailed design the hardware circuit , and the software of the system, and in the KEIL3 development environment by using C language development, and in addition, in order to improve the system of anti-jamming it also adopted a series of software and hardware measures. In the hardware it uses on the ground of anti-jamming and channel measures such as design, in software in digital filter, increase monitoring program, the important data backup. Finally, after laboratory testing the results show that the device finished all the target function, operation is stable, reliable, and reach the expected goal, and has certain practical value.
