Super-heavy crawler cranes play a vital role in the national construction, especially in the long-term development of the construction for the projects of large petrochemical, nuclear power, and wind power etc,. And the independent construction of scale, mass and standardization become the main trend of the development of large projects in the future, which set higher requirements of existing engineering machinery. Super-heavy crawler cranes directly affect the implementation, schedule, safety and reliability of the hoisting, so it is very important to study their safty in order to guarantee products quality and improve the operation performance and reliability. But only part requirements of the safety performance test of crawler crane project are provided in TSGQ7005-2008 "Type test rules for mobile crane" in our country, other ones, such as weld quality, ground pressure calculation, safety monitoring management system for super-heavy crawler crane are not provided in detail. Also the test method description of structure stress and lateral elastic migration is not perfect, so is the structure’s weight test. Then, on the background of research project of The Proving Ground for Construction Machinery and Military Refitting Trucks of Academy of Machinery Science and technology, this thesis tries to research and extend the contents of crawler crane type test. The main work and achievements are as follows:(1)For their big stresses by their weights, structure’s weight-stress testing method is proposed. Before the prototype is unassembled, strain gauges are affixed on the main structure, and initial testing datas are collected. After the prototype is assembled, initial testing datas are input, then the stresses both by weights and loads are tested. Through FEA and field test, the calculating and testing results verify that weight-stress is important.(2)According to the test results and compare between the displacement method and the loading method, it is concluded that the displacement method can’t completely suitable for load test of super-heavy crawler crane.(3)Analyzed and calculated the force condition of the dual tracks and the linear distribution of the left and right track based on the mathematical model, the function relationship between geometry parameters and the forces is established, and three different ground pressure types and calculation method are proposed.(4)According to the standard of GB/T 3323-2005 "Radiographic examination of fusion welded joints in metallic materials" and GB/T 11345-1989 "Method for manual ultrasonic testing and classification of testing results for ferritic steel welds", the non-destructive testing methods of super-heavy crawler crane are systematically analyzed, and the ratings of the weld quality test results are clarified.(5)Collected and studied references on the managing system of safety monitoring, the test methods are put forward, which apply to the super-heavy crawler crane managing system of safety monitoring, based on the standard of GB/T 28264-2012 "Lifting appliances-Managing system of safety monitoring". And the test methods are clarified.
