Nowadays, with the high-developed economy, the city is playing a more important role in the regional economic development than before. And as the economic center, the city is connected with the areas around or the outside cities by the traffic routes. Therefore, more and more countries have carried out a plan of city structure in terms of the Center Part Theory. However, it is seldom to see a statistical analysis of the traffic routes from the city center to the outside when scholars are making a study to the Christa Central Place Theory, among which scholars mostly pay their attentions to the similarity between the regional space model and the Central Place Theory in the process of the city construction. The development of the city center must be related to the situations around to some extent, and this relationship is multi-oriented, in which the traffic routes are indispensable. In the east of China, rich in the natural resource, with a high-speed development, it becomes a high-level comprehensive technological economic region. In this thesis, the author has made a statistical analysis of the traffic routes from the city center to the outside in the six eastern provinces of China (including all centers in every city, and every county), based on the theories of economic geography, city geography, and regional economics. Through the analysis the author has gotten the knowledge of the distribution of all traffic routes in these provinces.Through the statistical analysis of all traffic routes in different levels of administrative center in six eastern provinces of China, with the theory of the regional economics space development, the author has found that these traffic routes are in a unique distribution from the capital city to the prefecture-level city, then to the county. Besides, the author also has made a contrastive analysis of the traffic routes distribution to that of the national average level. In addition, combined with the statistic data, the author has also made a correlation coefficient analysis of the traffic routes distribution in different levels of the city center with the GDP per capita. The findings indicate that there is a high correlation between the GDP per capita and the traffic routes distribution in prefecture-level cities and county-level cities (counties), and also there is a close correlation between the development of the traffic routes from the city center to the outside in this six eastern provinces of China and the evolution of the regional spatial structure.
