Taking XIAOBING-Wheat 36 as samples to be experimented we carried out a series of experiments to study the influences of HVEF to the seeds and the seedlings under the room temperature, the treatment time is fixed up and different field intensities are treated to the samples at the same time every day, we examined the seed vigor, breath rate, germinating rate and the chlorophyll contents, soluble protein contents, soluble sugar contents and the activities of Peroxidase and Superoxide Dismutase, conductance and root system activity. The results show that when the voltage U is 5KV,the distance of the two electrodes D is equal to 50cm, the most physiological parameters will be advanced, the contents of the chlorophyll are improved 44.4 %, the advancement of the protein is 53.3 %, the sugar is also increased 30 %. When U is 15KV,D is 50cm, the SOD activity is elevated 56.8 % and the vigor of the root system is improved over 100%. We could easily conclude that the HVEF from U=5KV, D=50cm to U=15KV, D=50cm will be definitely beneficial to the wheat when the treatment time is invariable. We could apply this research result to the manufacturing industry to improve the outputs and quality of the wheat and other crops. This will do great favor to the development of the economy and the enhancement of the people's life.
