Silymarin Residue In The Production Of Fattening Pigs | | Posted on:2007-04-05 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:Y W Wang | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2193360185479646 | Subject:Animal Nutrition and Feed Science | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | In order to show the effect of Silybum marianum (L.)Gaerth compound feed on swine production 36 three way cross bacon type pigs with starting weight 25kg of duroc ×landrace×yorkshire or duroc× yorkshire×landrace were randomly divided into control group and test group by their weight and sex ,there was 3 treatment with 6 pigs each in these two group,in test group the Holy Thistle with compound Chinese medicinal herb was added into the feed as one of the basis of the feedstuff after it was distilled the silymarin for medicine. Antibiotics was added in the control group. The results shows:1. In the whole experiment term: The average of total body weight gain and daily weight gain of swine were no significant difference (P>0.05) after feeding for 90 days ,but the text group had increasing trend than control group in growing days .In growing days the digest ratio of crude fibre of the control group was increased 13.45% than the text group, and there were significant difference (P<0.05);in growing-finishing days, the digest ratio of phosphorus of the text group was increased 15.2% than the control group, The digest ratio of other nutrient compositions were all no significant difference (P>0.05).there were significant difference on swine growing performance of the two group.2.Blood index, There was no significant difference in the erythrocyte > leucocyte and hemoglobin content of blood. the Total albumen content of serum for text group has increased 5.5% (P>0.05). and the Globulin content of serum for text group has increased 12.03% (P<0.05) than control group The content of GOT, GPT, ALP, CHE, AMY of scrum for text group has increased 6.55% (P>0.05), 6.16% (P>0.05), 12.28% ( P<0.05 ), 4.53% (P>0.05) and 19.25% (P<0.05) than control group. There was no significant difference in the glucose content of serum. the content of BUN, CREA, UA, CHO, TG for text group has reduced 4.37% (P>0.05), 9.39% (P<0.05), 32.7% (P<0.05), 9.28% (P>0.05) and 25% (P<0.05) . The content of the serum calcium and serum inorganic phosphorus has increased 6.56% (P>0.05) and 7.61% (P>0.05) .3.Naked body quality. the abatage rate and lean meat rate of text group has increased 2.38% (P>0.05) and 6.12% (P<0.05) than control group .The dorsi fat of a stock animal thickness of text group has reduced 10.22% (P<0.05).
