There was shortage of research on the content of medium and micro elements, and how to manage the micro elements was restricted to the development of Guizhou flue-cured tobacco production.As to these issues, the micro elements contents in the middle tobacco leaves, the relating planting soil, the medium and micro element and the relationship with the tobacco smoking qualities were analyzed in this paper. In the present research, the area of the Guizhou tobacco planting region was divided into 4 different sections according to the contents of mediucm and micro elements in the tobacco leaves and corresponding soil. At last, the suggesting on how to manage the micro element was maken.The concentration of medium and micro elements was analyzed which included exchanging Ca, exchanging Mg, available S, available Cl, available Zn, available Mn, available Mo, available B, etc. in 1654 tobacco leaves and soil samples from Guizhou tobacco planting regions. The results displayed as follows. In Guizhou tobacco planting soil, the exchanging Ca and exchanging Mg is richer; the available S is a little bit higher; the available Cu, Zn, Fe, Mn and Mo are richer or rather richer; available B is lower; available Cl is much lower in general with the average content of 8.26mg/kg, and less than 30mg/kg in 97% planting tobacco soil of Guizhou . The degree of medium and micro elements varied significantly with the types of soil and geographical circumscription in Guizhou Province.490 middle tobacco leaves samples collected were subject to analyze, and the results showed that the contents of the P and Ca was relatively consistent, the concentration of Mg, B, Zn, Cu was much higher in most regions, and fairly lower; in the partial places, the content of S is higher in minority, and fitting in general; the content of B and Zn was suitable in most regions; Cu was somewhat shorter in a few places; the content of Cl mostly failed into the regular range, while some were less than 0.1%.The stepwise regression analysis was performed by the independent variable of the chemical factors and the dependent available of the smoking qualities towards the middle flue-cured tobacco leaves. 7 mid and trace elements had definite influence on the tobacco smoking qualities, which affected by the grade factors. In all of them, Mg and B have a positive connection with the tobacco smoking qualities, but the Cl and Cu and Ca is on the adverse, and the function of Zn and S were uncertainly.It was concluded that KCl with substitute of K2SO4 could benefit the improvement of the tobacco qualities. Employing B fertilizer is very important in Guizhou area, especially in II region. Regularly, the Ca and Mg is enough, but Mg should be utilized in part of the tobacco area. More Cu and Zn are necessary in Guiyang, Tongren and Qiandonglan, while Zn is just for Anshun and Qianxilan.
