Since 1990s, the development of the pig farm in China caused the concentrations of pig excrements. A large number of untreated or simply treated excrements directly were discharged into rivers, soil or groundwater, which has caused serious non-point source pollution in countries. Vigorously development of the animal husbandry industry brought the increasingly serious problems of pollution, which not only affects economic development, but also threaten the ecological safety. And that has become a widespread concern about social issues. In the past, too much attention were paid to breeding in the process of pig farm planning and construction, while the waste handling and utilization was neglected. As the study of the waste handling technology was focused on the handling excrements, not the utilization, it is difficult to solve pollution problemsAt present, developing economic and efficient technology of sewage irrigation, is one of the effective ways in the use of pig farm waste. The impact of fertilization on the environment in many countries has gradually has come to people's attention. However, from the perspective of irrigation, study on the use of waste water in pig farm hasn't been taken too much attention. In order to explore fertigation in the large-scale pig farms, the paper will discuss the transmission and distribution of water and irrigation system, which including:1 .Waste water treatment technology before fertigation which include the biochemical measures and water projects.2. It is discussed that distribution engineering and technology of Waste water to form suitable water distribution system in Hills of Southwest.3. To select appropriate fertigation strategy and reasonable irrigation system. Suitable irrigation system was chosen from furrow Irrigation, border irrigation, drip irrigation, spring irrigation, micro-spray irrigation, tube irrigation, and so on. According to crop water requirements, distribution of water was determined.4. To implement fertigation of pig farm as a demonstrating project. To set up a demonstration base of fertigation which has a treatment capacity of 80 m~3 in winter and 120 m~3 in summer. The total area of the base is 500 mu. Vegetables and crops are planted in the base.Through the study and demonstration and application of relevant technique and questions, to form a technique line suitable for fertigation in southern pig farm, help to develop crop planting and pig-ranching in a expand scale, develop a cyclic economy, to supply theoretic reference on utilizing of fertile water in southwest of China enlarged pig farm and on determining the construction scale of the pig farm.
