Qinghai Province is located in the northeastern part of the Tibetan Plateau, alpine arid area, for a long time drought and water shortage restrict the main factors in the local forestry industry, Qaidam Basin tank water resources shortage and the contradiction of the low rate of performance more prominent, also calls the amount of yearly production, but fertilizer utilization rate low status also plagued the development of agricultural production, research, the introduction of suitable for the different ecological areas of our province new water-saving technology and integrated management of water and fertilizer technology imminent.To understand the application effect of drip irrigation and fertigation in Qaidam basin, take the Qaidam characteristics crop wolfberry as object of study,there were three irrigation threshold treatments including W1(70%θ),W2(55%θ),and W3(40%θ),three fertilization treatments including F1(low),F2(middle)andF3(high).Test shows that under certain irrigation threshold, the plant height,stem diameter and yield could be significantly increased along with the increase of fertilization amount, while excessive fertilization was detrimental to the growth and yield improvement of wolfberry. Under certain fertilization amount, the plant height stem diameter and yield per plant could be improved by rational increase of irrigation threshold. Comprehensive consideration,the treatment of W1F2 was most conducive to the growth and yield.Considering the water use ratio and the water requirement of Chinese wolfberry medlar initially formulated the irrigation system: during the whole growth period irrigation quota 344m3, irrigation times 13 times.
