Suining City Forest Fire Information System Design And Realization

The city of Suining riches in forest resources, the forest cover rate is 35.6%, it is extremely important to the maintenance of ecological security in the region, regulating climate, drought and flood disaster reduction and so on. However, because the area is primarily dominated by Plantations, vegetation type is single, structure is simple, type of flammable species is excessive, the carrying capacity of combustible component increases constantly, in addition, the technology content of forest fire prevention and fighting is low, the difficult of fire prevention becomes more and more great. Therefore, improving technology content of forest fire prevention and level of automation is of great practical significance. In this context, by using "3S" technology and computer technology, we have developed the forest fire prevention information system according to actual needs。It is a collection of forecasting, monitoring, fire fighting, damage evaluation function module and so on.Firstly, this article introduced the overview of SuiNing City as study area,and research scheme。Data preparation, research goal and technique route were introduced as emphasis, and with the actual conditions and users'needs,illustrated the function design and database design of the forest fire prevention information system in detail. The GIS database was established with the topographic maps at the scale of 1:10000, the forest resource inventory data at the scale of 1:10000, meteorological data from stations, firefighting forces'distribution data, forest fire observation stations'distribution data, firefighting materials'storage data, forest management institutions'distribution data, economic and census data at village or township unit level, and remote sensing images.Based on the model in the Geodatabase, this system took SQL Server 2005 as database support platform, ArcSDE as organization and management tool of spatial database, took use of ArcEngine, Microsoft Visual Studio 2005+C# to realize the fire danger rating assessment, forest fire spreading simulation, the shortest path analysis, damage assessment, fire thematic map production, spatial query, buffer analysis, map editing features etc. And took An Ju Area as example to introduce in detail the application and basic functions of the application of geographic information. Built a Forest Fire Information System was important to improve forest fire prevention intelligent,digital and forest fire prevention information command level decision-making, and had great significance on fire and forest resource management of Suining city.
