Objective:Object to explore the relationship between calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) levels,NO levels and blood pressure, blood lipid, blood glucose, obesity and so on in the patients with essential hypertension(EH)of Xinjiang Kazakans. Methods:totally 100 Kazakans were selected for the subjects.they were divided into two groups according to their blood pressure:EH groups (n=52)and control group (n=48), Measurement of blood pressure, body height, body mass, waist circumference and hip. Fasting venous blood was drawn to detect the plasma CGRP levels, NO levels, fasting plasma glucose(FPG), total cholesterol(TC), triglyceride(TG), high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C),low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C), blood uric acid(BUA),Apo-A1 and Apo-B; calculating body mass index,waist-hip ratio (WHR) and Apo-Al/B.Results:1.the Plasma CGRP and NO level in essential hypertension group was significantly lower than that in control group(p<0.01).2.Correlated analysis between CGRP and indexes It showed that Plasma CGRP level was negatively and significantly correlated with SBP, LDL-C and TC in EH group, positively and significantly correlated with Apo-A1 in EH group; Plasma CGRP level was negatively correlated with SBP and LDL-C in control group;3.Correlated analysis between NO and indexes It showed that Plasma NO level was negativ-ely and significantly correlated with SBP and TC in EH and control group;4.Correlated analysis between CGRP and NO It showed that Plasma CGRP level was posit-ively and significantly correlated with NO in the two groups;5.Multiple regression analysis:It showed that LDL-C and TC were independent risk factors to affect the Plasma CGRP level; and NO was protective factors to affect the Plasma CGRP level; TC and SBP were independent risk factors to affect the Plasma NO level.Conclusions:1.The experience showed that blood plasma CGRP and NO level had relationship with EH of Kazakans;2. Multiple regression analysis of CGRP:It indicateted that LDL-C and TC were independent risk factors to affect the Plasma CGRP. And NO was independent protective factor to affect the Plasma CGRP level.3. Multiple regression analysis of NO:It demonstrated that TC and SBP were independent risk factors to affect the Plasma NO level.
