Clinical Study Of Tiaoxin Decoction Combined With Perindopril Tablets On The Treatment Of Hypertensive Left Ventricular Hypertrophy

objective:To investigate the effects of TiaoXin Decoction combined with Perindopril Tablets on the clinical symptoms, blood pressure, the resting heart rate, the relate indexes of the left ventricular hypertrophy (Deficiency of Heart QI and coagulation of Blood and Phlegm Stasis type) and of the cardiac function in patients with hypertensive left ventricular hypertrophy(LVH).Method:Fifty patients with hypertensive LVH (Deficiency of Heart QI and coagulation of Blood and Phlegm Stasis type) were randomly divided into the treatment group (28cases) and the control group (22cases). Patients in the treatment group were given TiaoXin Decoction combined with Perindopril for12weeks, and Patients in the control group were given Perindopril for 12weeks. The changes of clinical symptoms, the resting heart rate,BP and relate indexes of the left ventricular hypertrophy and of the cardiac function were observed.Results:(1) 12 weeks later, the clinical symptoms in the two groups were significantly alleviated(p<0.01), and the treatment group were superior to the control group(p<0.05).(2) 12weeks later, the level of BP,IVST, LVPWT, LVMI in the two groups were significantly decreased(p<0.05). the level of EF and E/A were increased in the two groups(p<0.05), But the improvement of these indexes in the treatment group are superior to those in the control group.(3) The level of the resting heart rate were decreased in the two groups(p<0.05), and the treatment group were superior to the control group(p<0.05).Conclusions:TiaoXin Decoction combined with Perindopril can alleviate clinical symptoms of LVH(Deficiency of Heart QI and coagulation of Blood and Phlegm Stasis type), and have the effects on reduction of BP,the resting heart and on the regression of LVH. The therapeutic effects of Tiaoxin Decoction with Perindopril were superior to the effects of Perindopril. Tiaoxin Decoction is an effective prescription to the patients with Deficiency of Heart QI and Blood and Phlegm Stasis type of the Left Ventricular hypertrophy.
