On People's All-round Development Under The Sight Of Network Culture

The all-round development of people is the goal of building a harmonious socialist society; it also the noble pursuit of lofty ideas and goals of Marxism. As the result of the objectification of existence activities and practice mode of human beings, culture is the objectification of the power of human nature and meanwhile reflects it in terms of mode of existence and development. People's development implies the interaction of human and culture. The overall development of people is achieved gradually by the mutual effect and influence of them. Network culture, which has caused tremendous impact on traditional culture, is gradually changing the way of people's practice, communication, thinking, learning, and even their values and spirit. That has created favorable conditions for social development and progress, and realistic possibility for the all-round development of people; however, negative efects are caused to the development of people at the same time. Through the study of the relationship between Network culture and the all-round development of people, this paper probes the new era connotation and value of the all-round development of people under the Network culture background from the cultural and philosophic perspective, largely enlarging the connotation and realization method of the all-round development of people and enriching the Marxism theory about it. This paper advocates should play up strengths and avoid weaknesses and nurture Network culture that can promote people's overall development, and then it can do better for the historical process of people's overall development, for following a scientific approach of development, and for building a harmonious socialist society.
