The early Ming dynasty was an important page of immigrationentering into He-xi area. During this period, a great quantity ofimmigration moved into He-xi area and settled down because of political,economic and military matters. The settlements have promoted theeconomy development of He-xi area while have made importantcontribution to He-xi area's city-town construction, strengthened thenorthwest border, and accelerated the national integration. Theimmigration changed the local culture construction, at the same time,their own cultural construction was also changed in society conversion. Inthe interaction with other local nations, they enhanced the mutualunderstanding and recognition and created a multicultural culture inHe-xi area together, and ultimately formed the regional characteristics ofHe-xi culture circles.This paper takes the development and the evolution of theimmigrant of He-Xi area in the early Ming dynasty as a main line, guidedby Marxist historical materialism theory, makes full use of historicaldocuments, uses the history philology examination method, socialstatistics method and history geography method and population historymethod, absorbing and using pre-research results, analyses the culturechanges of the immigration process and society conversion.
