The Study On Reforming And Perfecting Intra-party Electoral System

The target of this essay is to study reforming and perfecting intra-Party electoral system of the CPC (the Communist Party of China) in the new period. The intra-Party electoral system is a basic system in the intra-Party democracy system and has very important realistic meaning, which relates to the prospect and destiny of the CPC and the development of the socialist political civilization on a great degree. Since its birth, the CPC has been exploring intra-Party election actively, taking Marxist theory as guide and relating the reality of our country and our party closely, which had both successes and failures during arduous exploration. All this has provided solid practical foundation for the CPC to correctly understand, consciously grasp and use the election laws. Since the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee, the CPC's ruling environment and the ruling way have had the fundamental change; therefore, the existing intra-Party electoral system can not adapt to the objective request for developing intra-Party democracy under the brand-new situation, which requires urgent reform and perfection.
