Post-Practice, as a model of practical curriculum for teacher education in the reform and innovation of education practice, is a practice activity in which teacher-students accomplish the tasks of teaching and education in the form of post-practice under the guidance of teacher education institute and organization according to the course arrangement. At the same time, teachers from the practice school will be replaced to participate in the on-the-job teacher training program and receive further education.Through the methods of literature review, observation, interviewing and questionnaire survey, this thesis summarizes the present implementation situation and research status of the post-practice in our country. It takes Nanjing Xiaozhuang University as a case study, demonstrates the readers a complete design scheme of post-practice, conducts an implement follow-up on the students majoring in primary education, presents a detailed comments about experience of both the students and the teachers, and makes a rational analysis in the conclusion.The research probes with the model of Post-Practice and its historical development. It first introduces the background information of how Post-Practice generated and its present implementation, then offers a brief introduction of the Post-Practice being conducted in Nanjing Xiaozhuang University, which is taken as a case study in this research. The essay presents a detailed account of the theory basis for the design scheme, the content of the Post-Practice, and the implementation process. The Post-Practice is a reforming of teacher education model based on the "Teacher Professionalism Theories" and the idea of lifelong education. The essay analyses the implementation effectiveness of the Post-Practice with the presentation of the experience of both the students and teachers involved in multi-dimension. Through Post-Practice, the students obtain the opportunity to learn the practical knowledge for teachers, at the same time their own professional skills and abilities could be developed; the teachers also gain the chance to reflect their own teaching, to refresh their knowledge and to improve themselves in the process of on-the-job teacher training program. Meanwhile, with the aid of the needs and response of the two sorts of participants, the teacher education institutes and organizations explore and perfect the Scientificalness and rationality of their curriculums. At last, under the premise of affirming this new model of education practice, the essay makes some introspection and proposes some constructive suggestions.Post-Practice is a reform initiative of realizing the integration of teacher education, the research of Post-Practice is the enrichment and continuation of the research on the practice-oriented teacher education.
