The Study Of Mathematic Preview Based On Inquiry Learning

It is known that"Preview"is a common phenomenon, which different scholars at home have studied from the different angles.Viewed from the collected data, the achievements in the preview study on mathematics have focused on the following aspects:(1) study of the outlook of the mathematic preview; (2) study of the ways of previewing mathematics; (3) study of strategies of the mathematic preview.The reform of New Curriculum of Mathematics is advocating to cultivate the students' ability to inquire on their own. As we know, inquiry learning can help the students to cultivate their inquiry ability greatly. In view of the function of preview towards inquiry learning, most scholars, from the research data, hold the view that preview does harm to the implementation of inquiry learning; Also, most people, based on the survey or on the interview, believe that the students tend to be hampered by the existing thought because preview causes the students to contact cognitive process and result too early.With regard to this outlook, the author considers that it is beneficial to the implementation of inquiry learning as long as the ways and strategy of preview are stressed properly. The paper focuses on the study of how to carry out the preview strategy in the mathematic teaching and learning, based on the ways of literature and practice analysis. First, the paper clears the relationship between inquiry learning and mathematic preview from their respective concept. Second, the paper, from the integration of theory and practice, pays more attention to studying the preview strategies which can contribute to the implementation of inquiry learning. Finally, the paper summarizes the teachers'status and function in the mathematic preview under the outlook of inquiry learning according to the study of theory and practice.
