In the practice of the new physical curriculum, there's still a dovetail problem on the linkage of physical courses between junior middle school education and senior middle school education. Based on the theory of constructivism and human motivation, we adopt the questionnaire method and individual interview to investigate learning situations of the students of ninth grade, the first and the second grades of high school under the new curriculum background, to examine teaching status of the teachers of junior-middle-school and senior-middle-school, and to find out the difference between them. The survey results are as follows:(1) The students in grade one of high school have some deficiencies in the ability of physics knowledge construction, for example, lower study enthusiasm, poor ability of aim-leading activities, impoverished ability of the diagnosis study and reconsideration learning.(2) There are significant differences in physics learning motivation between the students in senior one and the students in grade nine and senior two. Learning incentive's effect to the student becomes gradually stronger and stronger with the grade growth.(3) The will of studying physics for the students of senior two is obviously higher than that for the students in senior one. The students in senior one have encountered quite many difficulties in the study, and have a little deficiencies on the ability of solving difficulty.(4) There is no obvious difference to guide students to construct knowledge between physics teachers in junior and senior middle schools. The achievement coming from internal factors for high school physics teachers is apparently higher than that for junior high school teacher. Since the senior school physics teachers lack exchange and communication with the junior middle school physics teachers, it is difficult for them to understand the teaching characteristic of the junior middle school physics.Finally, based on the above findings, some suggestions for alleviating the difficulty in the joint of physics teaching for junior and senior middle schools are proposed. The suggestions include to stimulate enthusiasm of students to study physics, to train and improve students' meta-cognitive ability, to emphasis on human care and pay great attention to student learning psychological development, to appreciate individual differences, to face all the students and cultivate excellent students, to strengthen the teaching communication between the junior teachers and the senior teachers, and to guide the students to form the good learning motivation and the achievement attribution.
