The post-80s and post-90s generation college students constitute a major part of current Chinese college students. Most of their families are single-child families and they have drawn unprecedented attention from education circles, mass society and media. How to correctly and objectively perceive these new generation college students and their ways of thinking, how to specifically carry out the ideal and faith education in accordance with their unique characteristics are the key projects for every educator especially college ideological and political pedagogues to promptly study on. The ideal and faith education on college students is a systematic and integrated process which requires not only the social conditions analysis, but also the research on the thoughts and behavior of post-80s and post-90s college students. To achieve this, this paper analyzes the feature of the students' thoughts and behavior.According to those features and the problems arise in the prices of ideal and faith education, the paper also explores the effective path to strengthen the ideal and faith education on college students. The paper falls into five parts as follows:The first part is the introduction which introduces the current research of the ideal and faith education on college students, the significance of this research and the problems need to be solved in the paper. Some relevant concepts are defined so that the readers can gain more basic knowledge about the key words in the paper.In the second part, a related survey has been conducted and an analysis on the unique thoughts and behavior features of post-80s and post-90s students and the positive and negative factors in the process of the ideal and faith education have been carried out.In the third part, the paper analyzes the causes of the problems exist in the ideal and faith education historically, theoretically and socially.In the forth part, the paper pertinently put forwards the measures of strengthening the education from the aspects of the students'characteristics and the problems occurs in the education.The fifth part is a conclusion points out the education is systematic and integrated process that requires not only the social conditions analysis, but also the research on the thoughts and behavior of post-80s and post-90s college students.
