Research On The Inductive Education For Beginning English Teachers In Rural Junior Middle School

As one of the important topics widely concerned in recent years, teacher education includes three successive stages: pre-service teacher education, inductive teacher education and in-service teacher education. Inductive teacher education, a critical phase in teacher education, helps beginning teachers accomplish the transformation from student of teaching to qualified teacher and plays an important role in the professional development of teachers. Based on the investigation and study of inductive teacher education of rural junior middle school beginning English teachers from Ji'an district, this research brings forward some pertinent suggestion for establishing a inductive teacher education system for rural junior middle school English teachers.Besides the introduction , the thesis is made of five major chapters:Chapter one makes a general introduction of the development of inductive teacher education for foreign language teachers. The thesis first analyzes the current situation of teacher education home and abroad, then the status quo of inductive teacher education, and points out the research. purpose.Chapter two is the scheme and the implementation of the research and includes introduction of the base of the research and research procedures.Chapter three is the findings and the conclusion of the research. In this chapter, author explains the collections of questionnaires and the interviews done in Ji'an.Chapter four makes reference of the inductive teacher education system in the developed countries.Chapter five brings forward some pertinent suggestion for implementing the inductive teacher education and establishing a inductive teacher education system for rural junior middle school English teachers based on the findings and discussion above.
