A Study On Spatial-temporal Differentiation And Obstacle Factors Diagnosis Of Land Use Efficiency In Fujian Province

Based on the analysis of land use background and status, this study established the evaluation index system of land use efficiency according to the scientific principles, evaluated and analyzed the dynamic changes of land use efficiency in Fujian province from 1997 to 2007 and the land use efficiency differentiation among 9 cities with districts in 2007. After that, the obstacle degree judgment model was constructed to diagnose the obstacle factors, and then these factors were anatomized deeply. The results were concluded as follows:(1) From 1997 to 2007, the land use efficiency of Fujian province was growing faster and faster as time went by, among different kinds of partial efficiency, economic efficiency and social efficiency had the same trend as comprehensive efficiency, while ecological efficiency was increasing with fluctuation; (2) The general level of land use efficiency in 9 cities with districts was not high, and the disparities among different regions were obvious. The relationship between comprehensive efficiency and economic efficiency was very close, at the same time, social efficiency and ecological efficiency were also important; (3) The spatial differentiation of land use efficiency in Fujian was significant, the efficiency level in southeast coast of Fujian was higher than other areas; (4) The main obstacle factors of land use efficiency in most of the cities were dominated by the economic factors, the social and ecological factors were also involved partially. The ecological factors were dominant in Xiamen where the economy and society had been developing very well. Finally, some suggestions about land use were put forward based on the optimization of the land use efficiency.
