In the context of the strategy of rejuvenating villages, building beautiful rural villages in China, and precision poverty alleviation,as a poverty alleviation and key development county which depends on agriculture,it is especially important to realize the efficient use and protection of cultivated land resources in Guanghe county. Most of the existing studies are based on the mid-level view of developed cities and counties. The research content focuses on one aspect on the evaluation of cultivated land use efficiency, regional differences, and spatial differentiation characteristics. While study the benefits of using cultivated land resources in poverty-stricken mountainous regions from the village scale with comprehensive use of spatial analysis techniques and combination of quantitative and qualitative methods are rarely reported. Therefore, this paper takes evaluation of the benefit of rural cultivated land use as the research object, using the improved entropy method and comprehensive evaluation method, introducing the GDI,ESDA,the method for combining barrier function and field interview to reveal the temporal and spatial evolution characteristics, and diagnoses the obstacle factors affecting the use efficiency of cultivated land,in order to provide a method and means for understanding the benefits of cultivated land resources in impoverished mountainous areas from the scale of the village area.Research results indicate:(1)From 2006 to 2015,the administrative villages in the high-efficiency of cultivated land use economic benefits accounted for a higher proportion in the whole village, and the number of administrative villages in low-efficiency areas reduced significantly, the distribution of cultivated land use efficiency zone shifted to the southwest. After 2011,the proportion of administrative villages in the high-efficiency of cultivated land use social benefits and ecological benefits is decreasing. The administrative villages in the high-efficiency of cultivated land utilization have accounted for the highest ratio in 10 years.while Guanghe county are pursuing economic benefits, the simultaneous growth of social and ecological benefits are neglected. It influenced the sustainable development of farmland in rural areas.(2)Classifying the rural land use of 101 villages in Guanghe county into seven conditions.Comprehensive benefits and coordination of cultivated land use show an overall decrease from north to south. Most of the villages are in the mid-efficient and coordinated area, and the cultivatedarea accounts for 32.04% of the total cultivated area. The proportions of low-efficient,mid-efficient and high-efficient land use villages are respectively 35.64%,44.55% and 19.80%,while the proportions of uncoordinated, coordinated and better coordinated villages are respectively22.77%,67.32% and 9.90%.(3)During the study period, the differences of cultivated land use efficiency level in the villages are relatively large. The high-efficiency areas for economic benefits from cultivated land are mostly distributed in rural areas of the Chuan region, where irrigation conditions are good and agricultural areas have high production value. The high-efficiency areas for social benefits from cultivated land are mostly distributed in rural areas of the mountain village with few people and a lot of cultivated land or edge village with a large population and a small grain planting area. The spatial dissimilarity of the economic benefits of using cultivated land is relatively large, and the spatial differentiation of the social benefits and ecological benefits of cultivated land use are synchronized, which is consistent with the time-based evolution of cultivated land use benefits. The evolution of spatial-temporal pattern generally shows a positive auto-correlation characteristics, the interaction between villages has gradually increased from 2006 to 2011.In 2011,the Moran's I index reached 0.6012,and the area of cultivated land in the H-H type area increased on a partial basis, mainly in the villages of Chuan region. The Moran's I index dropped by 81.87% between2011 to 2015,and the interactions between villages decreased;the H-H type gradually shifted to rural areas in the southwest of the Guanghe county.(4)Diagnostic analysis of obstacle function, the main obstacles affecting the improvement of cultivated land use efficiency in the village are unit labor and net income per farmer.Analyze the deep factors constraining cultivated land use in villages from the results of interviews that unsound legal system is the leading factors, insufficient investment in agricultural infrastructure is the internal factor, and low quality of peasant labor force is the essential factor.
